A tribute to dr. a. g. tendulkar
Dr A.G. Tendulkar was born in the early 19th century in Belgundi village, Belgaum. As a young child he studied in Vengurla and then went on to Sabarmati to Gandhiji’s Ashram.He was then sent on scholarship to the UK on the recommendation of seniors of the Congress party Motilal Nehru etc. and others. Tendulkar spent 24 years in Germany doing his PhD and engineering courses and returned to India to Belgaum to start industry. He joined the QUIT India Freedom movement and had to spend many years in prison.
He was successful in starting one of Indias first cement factories in Bagalkot, Karnataka. He planted hundreds of trees and also a large mango estate in Belgundi which has now transformed to Shoonya Farm Retreat. His love for music and the arts and nature were great.He is the inspiration behind the Megh Maĺhaar M
EVENT PLAN
ROUND 1 : ONLINE
All first round auditions will be done ONLINE only. Last date of submission is 11th August 2024. Time duration is 5 min.
ROUND 2 : ONLINE
Second Round Participants will be notified if they are selected via email / phone.
Last date of submission is 30th August 2024. Time duration is 10 min.
FINAL ROUND : IN PERSON AT SHOONYA FARM RETREAT, KARNATAKA
Finalists will have to come to Shoonya Farm Retreat, Belagavi for the final competition. Accommodation up to 1 room and transportation to the venue will be taken care of by the organizers.
Travel details for participants & person accompanying can be shared one week prior to finals.

Click “Register Now” on our website. This will take you directly to a secure payment portal. Once you’ve filled in your details and completed the payment, you’ll receive an automatic confirmation email with a unique registration link.
Yes. The first two rounds of our exciting competition will be held online. The final round, however, will be held in person at the stunning Shoonya Retreat! The last day for the submission for the 1st round is 28th July and the 2nd round is 11th August 2024. The 2nd Round shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/phone.
Once the payment is completed, you’ll receive an automatic confirmation email with a unique registration link where you can upload your video by pasting the link in a designated field.
The finalist will be accommodated at the stunning Shoonya Retreat, the venue for the final round itself and accommodation is up to one room.
Once you’ve reached Belagavi, the organizers will take care of transportation to Shoonya Retreat.
